Rundown (8/13-8/19) I’m a Weird Sonic Fan

Some might be wondering if I will be reviewing Sonic Mania soon, as its PC version will be coming out on August 29th, but I am not planning on reviewing it for quite a while, as I often wait for games to go on sale and such.  I will get to it eventually, and will hopefully enjoy it, despite it being pretty obvious by now that I am part of the generation who genuinely prefers the 3D games over the 2D games.  I mean, I like them so much that I have done some concept work for a story that “homages” Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, and I was more excited to hear this new track from the rapper behind the Knuckles stage themes for Sonic Adventure 2 than I was for anything pertaining to Sonic Mania.  I guess you could say a weird Sonic fan that way. Rundown (3/19-3/25) Work Quantity is How Humans Should Be Judged

Over this past week, I’ve been working full time for the… well, I’ve worked full time before in my life, but this is the first time I spent my spring break doing it, and I have been far more strapped for time because of it.  How people can manage to get home at 18:00, do some housework and eating until 19:00 and get everything they want done before 23:00 while simultaneously unwinding from work is kind of beyond me.  But I guess I’ll just get used to it as, while some people can fight against the 40 hour work week, I’ll likely be in a profession where it approaches 50 during busier points of the year.  So yay for that. Rundown (2/19-2/25) Murder Your Family for Maximum Power

captureYou know what?  Griffith from Berserk only did three wrong things.  One, care for Guts enough so that he was torn apart over his departure.  Two, rape the princess and steal away the virginity that the king hoped to steal with his musky old penis.  Three, let Guts and Casca live when he could have easily killed Guts and Casca was rendered mentally retarded due to all of the demon rape.  Everything involving him sacrificing his army and family for more power?  That was a rational and well formed decision.  It could be that I forgot some things, as it has been 5 years since I read the manga in full, but I don’t believe anyone who says they would not kill their family when they are unable to so much as lift a spoon to their mouth. Rundown (6/13) E3 2016: Your Ambition Is Irrelevant

Overstimulated

There is a lot of content to cover, so let’s jump right into it.  A rundown detailing the E3 2016 presentations of Microsoft, PC Gamer and AMD, Ubisoft, and Sony.  There’s a stupid amount of content to cover, and simply getting all of this done in one day has proved to be quite the challenge.  So let’s go! Rundown (8/16-8/22) Forever A Failure

0 DR nothing zero zip zada failure no more motivation give up surrenderAnother week, another one-fifth-second of a year gone down the drain, and another series of days where I feel like I have been a worthless POS, as I am not keeping my shit organized well enough.  I’ll hopefully get better once I return to a school based schedule this week, and hopefully my first semester of full-time college does not cause me to dive down the despair drenched drain to the dirty and dingy darkness.  Alliteration is fun… Continue reading

Rundown (6/15) E3 2015: I’m a Stealthy Little Office Lady!

Vain

You can easily decipher this title, right?

Okay, so, I am working full time this summer, for those who do not know, or just stumbled onto this post, and that means I cannot spend all day in E3 mode.  It makes my nights very hectic, as I try to pick up the piece right after getting home, but I went through Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony’s press conferences, amounting to over five hours of footage, while writing up some quick thoughts on the opinions on the video games, as I have been doing since 2012.  Without further ado, I’ll just get right to it.
