So, I was directed to a three hour unscripted lecture on the story of Kingdom Hearts. I watched it, and am almost amazed at how much the story resembles the slew of fan fiction that it inspired. It is the most contrived and convoluted thing I have ever seen go on for this long, and I am convinced that Square Enix lacks any sort of narrative editors and that Tetsuya Nomura should never, ever, be put in charge with the story for anything ever again. My Persona 4 Golden review has finally gone gold, meaning I finished and published it for all to judge. But I need to get back into the swing of things and knew I had a busy week coming up, which meant I needed to get something quick played and out of the way. It is Sonic Adventure 2, one of my favorite games as a kid, and a game that is like meeting your old pal from elementary and middle school and seeing that they started doing that Shrinkers, getting their senses all messed up and having their toes fall off. So yes, the game is terrible from a certain standpoint. I also got RPG Maker, and hope to eventually do something with that, but first my second novel’s got to get its rough draft done. Yeah, past two weeks have been slowing down, and everything is going to wind to a halt come the post Christmas lull. With people looking forward to a very fruitful Q1 for 2014, and looking back at the prior year to hand out awards, which I plan on doing along with some work on the actual infrastructure of this blog… I basically did that, apparently. Now to just finish the draft for Punky & Yuccot: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure.
