Nigmabox Rundown (12/27-1/02) Life Can Always Be Worse

0 Watamote sttiny smell bathroom nothing more nothing less... fuckI went over to my grandmother’s house when I was a little kid, where I learned how to read, write, do math, and played with a group of kids she cared for.  On New Year’s, I learned that one of them, named Amber, who is about 18 or 19 now, had a baby with a black man even though her family is terribly racist and dysfunctional as can be.  She’s now living with the baby, who she abandoned for about a year, her mother, who is a suicidal alcoholic, and her grandmother, who is a sociopath who does not understand how money works.  I also made out with this girl a lot when I was four, and last saw her when she was fourteen, where she looked like a well formed and very promiscuous girl…  I just felt like sharing that.  It certainly made my life look awesome in comparison.

On a brighter note, Square Enix dropped a bomb of sorts by announcing that Final Fantasy IX, a game I believed would never be released on modern hardware, will be getting a PC, Android, and iOS version of the game.  It will feature higher resolution 3D models, a high speed mode for the more tedious battles, and will not contain the high quality prerendered backgrounds that Square Enix lost over a decade ago, meaning that people are stuck with 240p backgrounds unless a mod.  Now I, II, X/X-2 Remastered, and the inevitable XII Remastered need to be released for PC, then all the mainline Final Fantasy games will be on that platform, even if the ports of V and VI are rubbish.  Once you’re done with that, Square Enix, could you work on getting Nier on PC?  I really think that game could do relatively well if you make a good port of it.1 KLK Determination Face nothing is gonna stop me from doing my mission quest nobody neither yeah

Of course, I would want games like Chrono Trigger on PC, along with the Dragon Quest titles if Square Enix wants to invest time and money into their ports.  Although, there are zero games I specifically do not want to see on PC, a platform I will praise above modern consoles, while also admitting that it has many problems with it, from unstable and poorly optimized games, a reliance on a single operating system, and a single game distributor.  Steam is still a very good service that I use almost daily, but giving one company that much power is never a good idea.  Also, on Christmas day, the storefront had too much traffic, and some people’s personal information was accessed by others.  It’s more complicated than that, still not that terrible, and only affected a few thousand people, but this is still something to worry about.2 MLM Worried

I don’t think that anybody is really worried about Platinum Games’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan, which recently had some concept art revealed to the public from a source not affiliated with Activision.  Based on the designs, the in-game models for the characters were featured in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, which I guess makes sense.  Yeah, I’m grasping for straws here, as nobody wanted to announce anything during this week where people are not hungry for game news and the like.  So with that, see you later this week with a review of the Gravity Ghost.  3 Haganai Unexpected Something inside Bums
